KM9 Discoveries[]
Planet Data[]
The data taken by KM9 so far yields the following table
Mass | Radius | SMA | Eccentricity |
---|---|---|---|
1.25 MJ ± .5 MJ | 1.2 RJ ± .3 RJ | 5 AU ± .1 AU | <0.2 |
Spectral Lines[]
The spectral lines of the star taken by KM9 are below:
Planet Images[]
The following image shows a vertical temperature slice of the planet's atmosphere.
The following image was taken by KM9 using the radio transmitter overlayed onto another image of the planet.
The following image was taken by KM9 using the secondary camera due to the failure of the main camera, in the KP-ZZ1-ASZ system on 62.4, at a distance of 5 AU. It shows the gaseous dense atmosphere.
The following image was taken using the Vertical Differential Temperature Apparatus on the KM9 probe on 62.4. It measured the temperature of the clouds.
This image was taken at a closer range than above with the clearer Thin Range Radio Scanner, rather than the low quality wide scan.
The last image ever made before contact was lost. A map.
New image that was transmitted, just before entrance to the atmosphere.
This is the first picture ever from KM9 since the crash. The CCD failed, with damage to the blue filter.
KM13's Discoveries[]
Moons of MP-23[]
Using radial velocity detection on the planet, KM13's sensitive instruments detected at least 2 moons orbiting the planet.
